Shannon & Andrew’s Wedding at Turf Valley Golf Resort, Ellicott City, MD

Last year I shot Shannon’s sister’s wedding at Kent Manor Inn. 6 years ago I shot Andrew’s sister Nadine’s wedding to Brad in Baltimore. Two other couples whose wedding I did a few years ago were in attendance as well. It felt like a reunion for me.

The day began with some clouds and a few brief showers but the weather conditions improved enough for us to get our picture time in. The wedding was a great success and Shannon was beautiful. I enjoyed the day and the opportunity to catch up with some previous clients.

Jamie and Justin had a beautiful wedding at CBBC.

I began shooting at the Rumors Salon & Spa in Pasadena, MD. We then headed over to the Beach Club for the ceremony and The Beach House for their reception.

It was a very windy day, but the sun was bright and the skies were clear. The temperature was nice and warm, but not hot. The wind poses a huge problem when it comes to pictures, as the hair that the girls spent so much time on will just blow like crazy. So, before the ceremony, I kept Jamie and the girls sheltered from the wind so as not to ruin the hairdos. Following the ceremony, we were able to work in the outside open area as the wind died down and a beautiful sunset approached. We took a lot of great images of what turned out to be a great day.
