On Saturday I met up with Kara and Tom at my favorite park location for their engagement session. They came down from New York city where they live. The weather was sunny and cloud free but a little windy which made it hard for Kara. Wind is the hardest thing to deal with because it becomes impossible to control the hair. But she was great. And I turned her into the wind whenever possible.
The first thing I do at the beginning is explain what to expect and how I approach the entire session. I let them know that I don't pose but I do direct a little. I want them to just be themselves and to connect and have fun. And hopefully forget about me. We do little scenes like in a movie and let it happen. And they were wonderful. It was a lot of fun. They did a great job and some of the images are above.
There wedding will be September 9, 2009 at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. I am always excited to work there. It is one of the best wedding ventues anywhere. And the entire staff from top to bottom is first class. I highly recommend CBBC>
