Sunday Jennifer, Justin and I met in Annapolis to do their engagement session. Once again, the weather was windy, overcast and threatening to rain at any moment. But, in spite of the weather we were able to have a really fun engagement session. It just goes to show that weather does not keep us from getting great photography.
What we did was try to work the side streets where the wind would not be a factor. And I tried to keep the light directional which prevented the raccoon eyes from being a problem. By just walking we were able to find cool spots to use. Alleys, the steps in front of the state house, walkways, a cool door in front of the state house, historical streets and buildings.
Jennifer was super photogenic. If you get the right angle, she is perfect. Justin was a great guy. He was exactly what I want the guy to be. Himself. Things just fell into place. I just let them go and watched. And shot like crazy. It can be magical when you work the light right.
Jennifer and Justin's wedding is next January 2010 at The Great Room in Savage Mill, Maryland.
The equipment, a Canon 5D Mark II with a 24/70 2.8 lens and a Canon 1D Mark III with a 70/200 2.8 sl lens.
