Colleen and Reis decided to marry in Punta Cana, Dominican
Republic at the Paradisus Resort. They flew us there and arranged our 5-day
stay at the resort. They told me the resort would have charged them approximately
$1000 to bring in an outside photographer but because we were guests, we were
able to shoot the wedding without the extra charge. So Colleen and Reis’
wedding was photographed by their trusted photographer and we enjoyed a mini
vacation. The wedding was fantastic. Photography started the moment we arrived by
taking resort photos. We then met with Colleen and Reis for the wedding
rehearsal and dinner. On the wedding day, the weather was a little overcast,
very humid and was threatening to shower. But, the rain held out. The ceremony
was held in a gazebo overlooking the ocean and beach. Afterwards, we shot
photos on the beach and in select locations within the resort. Colleen’s beauty
was accentuated in this setting. The reception was held outdoors near the pool.
This tropical setting was decorated beautifully with pink lights and a romantic
ambiance. There were around 40 or 50 guest in attendance and everyone enjoyed
an amazing evening. Sadly, the wedding festivities
had to end, but we enjoyed the rest of our stay at this impressive all-inclusive
resort. Nice to have food and drinks
covered. Great time! We just might go back for another vacation or maybe a
wedding J
