Christine and Joe had their engagement session
in Georgetown, Washington, DC. We met at some gardens where entry permissions were pre-arranged by Joe and Christine. Unfortunately, the security
guard and management would not let us in because I was a “professional
photographer” who might take photos. Uh oh… I might take some professional
photos of their location. Seems ridiculous. Who needs to pay for special gardens anyway?
We improvised and went to the nearby park and shot some great fall images. We then
left the park and drove a few blocks down to the historic B&O canal and got
some cool photos there. We finished up down by the Potomac River. This was a successful
day with great weather, a great couple and a perfect location. It was a little
difficult getting in and out of the city, and during rush hour traffic, but when
the end result is great photos, I don’t mind the headache.
