Kerry and David had their engagement session at Brookside
Gardens located in Wheaton, MD. This picturesque location is run by the county
parks and is such a wonderful park where people are allowed to just enjoy the
gardens and take photos. I see many photographers there doing just that. On this day I
just followed the couple through the park capturing their story along the way. I
prefer to shoot the candid moments, rather than pose the clients. I just let
them go and direct them or set the scene as needed. This approach works well
most of the time. Then it’s up to me to figure out the best way to shoot them. I
have a lot of fun with it.
This was our last chance to do this shoot before their fast
approaching wedding, which was only a week away. I am getting anxious to do the wedding J
