Took a trip recently to The Hawaiian Islands of Kauai and Maui, Below is the Kauai trip. We spent 4 days there. We rented a car and drove from one end to the other. This is truly a beautiful place.
We started out by taking a helicopter tour. We choose Blue Hawaiian Helicopters (which I highly recommend). Our pilot was Andy and he was like an encyclopedia of knowledge. He was talking constantly as we got very close and personal with many of the beautiful sights and he did it with ease. Below was some of the images.
The next day we went to Secret Beach. This is a beach that we found by walking down a path and then a steep hill that lead to this very private beach. Only a hand full of people were there.

The road up into Waimea Canyon was winding and seamed straight up at times climbing around 4000 feet. Part of the road was like dodging a mine field with so many holes. But the views were spectacular! Below is some of the views.
