Amanda & Wayne at The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Amanda and Wayne’s wedding day began at Amanda’s house in Pasadena, MD. She and the girls were so much fun to shoot. The ceremony was held at a local catholic church. This church was not like others I’ve seen in the city. It was more modern. More like I would expect to see in the suburbs. It’s not my top pick for photo opportunities, but I’m sure a memorable site for Amanda & Wayne’s wedding. Following the ceremony, we were off to The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for a fun filled reception in the Sunset Ballroom. The weather was sunny and pleasant. We first took photos outside on the lawn, on the stairs and the rooftop, before heading to the ballroom for the celebration. I enjoyed an outstanding day with this amazing couple and wedding party.

Wedding at The Valley Country Club Featuring Kristen & Chris

Kristen and Chris had a beautiful wedding on this day. I shot Chris’s sister’s wedding about 10 years ago. So it was wonderful to see Kelly and Jon again!

We started at the Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley, Maryland for the “getting ready” photos. Kristen was such a beautiful bride… quite perfect, in fact. We then moved on to the church located on Hartford Rd. It was a very nice Catholic church (Aren’t they all?). Catholic weddings usually start early and most couples prefer not to begin their reception too early. So, immediately following the ceremony we took a short break and detoured back to the Embassy Suites to capture more photos before continuing on to The Valley Country Club.

The Valley Country Club seems to improve each time I visit. Artie Donavan (hall of fame lineman for the Baltimore Colts) owns it and was there in the bar. He is somewhat of a celebrity here in Baltimore. I really enjoy this location. They have a friendly staff and everything is done well.
